This Spanish Mediterranean estate on the waterway in Coral Gables, complete with 7 bedrooms and 14 foot ceilings was the perfect canvas, but in need of a major refresh from the previous owners Tuscan inspired interior. If you’re thinking vases filled with wine corks and Tuscan gold painted walls, then you’re on the right track. The result is an updated, light-filled space that embodies the best of transitional design with cleaner lines and lighter colors. The goal was to highlighted the warmth and texture of traditional, classic features like the arched walls, coral fireplace and marble floors, while adding in a more modern, minimal  aesthetic throughout.
